Support added for G-Eazy 3/5: Rockie Fresh & KyleJanuary 15, 2014
To kick off the year G-EAZY is pleased to announce the addition of Maybach Music Group / Atlantic Records artist Rockie Fresh as main support for his upcoming “These Things Happen Tour,” which leads up to the release of his highly anticipated new album These Things Happen out this spring. California native Kyle will also join the tour as support.
To celebrate the addition of Rockie Fresh as lead support on G-Eazy’s “These Things Happen Tour,” G released the brand new smoked out remix to his Christoph Andersson produced track “Been On” with features from Rockie Fresh and Tory Lanez. Coinciding with the tour announcement and track, G-Eazy released a teaser video featuring unreleased footage along with the full tour lineup and a sneak peak at the upcoming live experience.
The 36-date “These Things Happen Tour” kicks off February 21 in Dallas prior to the upcoming album release and continues across the U.S. and Canada hitting major markets like New York City, Chicago, Atlanta, Los Angeles, San Francisco and Toronto with additional dates nationwide. Tour updates and tickets are currently available at G-Eazy.com.
G-Eazy is seeing unprecedented levels of excitement for the release of These Things Happen following a huge year that included being named Spotify’s “Spotlight” Artist, a sold out headline tour, a Billboard Music Awards performance, and going on Lil Wayne’s America’s Most Wanted Tour. Most recently, G-Eazy debuted the visually stunning video for his single “Almost Famous” in December. The Video features nods to classic magazine covers Rolling Stone, GQ, High Times, Hypebeast & others with G starring front and center with a level of sophistication sorely missed in the hip hop world today.
Maybach Music Group artist Rockie Fresh joins the tour coming off an impressive 2013. Most recently Rockie Fresh released his collaboration effort with Roc Nation hip-hop artist Casey Veggies called Fresh Veggies in collaboration by Puma. Additionally, Rockie has continued to grow within Maybach Music Group under the guidance of Rick Ross. This past year he was featured on the critically acclaimed “Self Made” series, contributing to some of most buzzed about tracks on “Self Made 3,” including the Hit-Boy produced “What Ya Used To.” Currently, Rockie is preparing to release his debut studio EP on MMG / Atlantic.
